The meeting of traditional Kintsugi craftsmanship with high-end materials and modern designs creates exceptional furniture that tells a story of resilience and beauty in imperfection. The unique aesthetics and rarity of the Kintsugi technique used by Eje-Design make the furniture pieces unique and exceptional.
Through our Kintsugi theme, we sought beauty in the metamorphosis of the original form. This idea of transformation is a source of beauty in itself. The use of gold, silver or lacquer powder allows us to highlight the transformation by highlighting the idea that nothing is perfect and that scars are an integral part of the life of the form and the object. This technique thus shows that beauty can be found in the acceptance and highlighting of imperfection. Each crack tells a story and reminds us that the object has been through trials. This temporal dimension adds an aesthetic and emotional depth to the creation, giving it a unique and new beauty, connecting the present to the past, and projecting them into the future.
The shiny lacquer and gold lines create a captivating aesthetic symbolizing transformation and renewal, while respecting the originality of the original form. The shapes are thus respected and become stronger and more beautiful, recalling the ability of man to rise from trials and grow.

Nous avons privilégié l'utilisation de formes géométriques, de lignes droites ou courbes, de cercles et d'angles droits. La beauté s’exprime ainsi dans la simplicité, l'équilibre et la clarté des formes géométriques.
