1. WHAT DOES THIS POLICY COVER? DO OTHER POLICIES APPLY TO YOU?

 

Our privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) has been established and is maintained by the company EJE DESIGN, (“EJE DESIGN” or “We”) SAS with capital of 10000€ registered with the RCS of Romans under number 934 424 763, whose registered office is located at 53 Grande Rue, 26000-Valence and whose intra-community VAT number is FR00000. It covers the situations in which We collect, access, process, use, store, communicate and transfer your personal data (the “Personal Data”). E

This Privacy Policy does not cover products or services you may use that are provided by other companies acting on their own behalf.

The Privacy Policy does not apply to services provided by other companies acting on their own behalf, such as franchisees or licensees, nor when You share information through the various social networks or on other online platforms owned and managed by companies other than EJE DESIGN. These companies have their own privacy policies.

 

2. WHAT SPECIAL CONDITIONS APPLY TO YOU DEPENDING ON YOUR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE?

The collection, use and protection of your Personal Data is essential for the proper functioning of the site and to offer you a personalized experience and quality service. This approach is carried out in accordance with the applicable European data protection regulations and is also in accordance with consumer law where you have your country of habitual residence. In order to be able to offer our products and services, We need to collect Personal Data about You and share it if necessary with selected partners who act as our subcontractors. We draw your attention to the fact that we will use personal identification data such as your email address or telephone number to link an interaction or purchase to your customer account. In order to keep your personal data accurate and up to date, you have the possibility to rectify them at any time via your customer area or please indicate to us by email at support@eje-design.com which of your data needs to be updated or corrected. Please be aware that this action may require us to correct typographical errors or inconsistent personal data.

In order to have a unified experience and regardless of the way we communicate with You, physical relationship in our stores or those of our partners or via the Website, by Chat, telephone or Video, EJE Design wants its customer service offered to You to be personalized and the most adapted to Your expectations. To this end, We will collect, process, analyze, use, store, communicate and transfer Your Personal Data in order to be able to identify You and thus provide You with the assistance You request or share relevant information with You. Please note that when You contact us, we keep the Personal Data that You shared with Us, the topics covered and the solutions that have been provided to You. Please be aware that in order to defend Our Rights and Property, Our employees, or even Our business partners, We could implement certain measures in compliance with laws and regulations. Thus, please be aware that We have set up a procedure to combat malicious calls so that any inappropriate behavior, harassment, insult or threat systematically results in the sending of a warning to the user concerned and their registration on a provisional monitoring list. In the event of a repeat offense, the user will receive a second warning which will prohibit them from calling Us and making any order or request for 6 months. Only contact by email will then be authorized with said user in order to preserve their rights.

We inform you that the creation of Your customer account is mandatory to place orders on Our Website. The information collected in this context allows Us to identify You, to administer your customer account, to allow the proper execution of the contract and to provide You with customer service related to Your orders or requests. This Personal Data includes, Your title, Your Name, Your First name, Your Pseudonym, Your email address, Your login ID, Your IP address, Your date and place of birth, Your postal address, Your Country of residence, Your telephone number, Your customer number, Your lifestyle.

Please note that in some countries, certain Personal Data may be considered sensitive under applicable legislation. We will only collect and use this data when there is no other possible option but always in compliance with applicable legislation.

The information collected in this context allows Us to provide You with the products and services You have requested from Us, to manage Your customer account, to execute the contract binding Us, to provide You with customer service, to secure Our communications and to better understand Our business. This Personal Data includes data on the Products You have ordered or requested, their price, sizes and characteristics, on the time at which the Product was ordered, if a return has taken place when possible, on the comments You have made on the Product or customer service, Your purchase history, Your Customer History, the interactions We have had with You. Some data will be linked to your transaction and become Personal Data. We obtain Your Personal Data primarily directly from You and this directly from Us or from third parties such as our business partners. 8. DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO SHARE ALL YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH US?

Mandatory Personal Data is clearly identified as such on our Website. If You do not wish to provide Us with certain other Personal Data, You may simply not provide it to Us. Please be aware, however, that if You choose to do so, You may not be able to benefit from certain services.

9. FOR HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

In accordance with current legislation, We only keep Your Personal Data for the necessary time, i.e. concerning your customer account or temporary file, 5 years from the last interaction that You initiated with Us and traceable in Our systems.

Please note that before proceeding with the deletion of Your Personal Data linked to Your Customer Account or Your temporary file, We will contact You by email to inform You of said deletion. You will then have the possibility to ask Us to keep Your Personal Data. In the event that You do not respond, the deletion of all Your Personal Data that We are not required to keep for longer in order to comply with Our legal, tax or accounting obligations, will be carried out. We will destroy them in such a way that it is no longer possible to read, restore or recover them.

10. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Aware of the importance of Your Personal Data to You and Us, We have implemented a system to ensure their confidentiality as best as possible. Please be aware that when We use, share or transfer personal data outside the country in which the data was collected or stored, We will put in place appropriate measures to make the transfer legitimate under applicable data protection legislation, such as obtaining Your consent or implementing contractual guarantees.

To exercise rights on behalf of a deceased person, We will ask You to provide Us with proof that You are a close family member or executor of the deceased person's will.
